The Historic Dockyard is ideal for Group Visits - offering a first class destination for your group visit, whatever the age and interests of your members.

Whether you are a Probus, U3A, WI or RNA; a group with a special interest in history, ships or architecture, there will be something within the stunning 80-acre site of The Historic Dockyard and its attractions to excite and entertain you.

Our Group Sales Team will help you, as a Group Organiser, make your visit as hassle-free and as memorable as possible.

We even offer you a Group Organiser's complimentary ticket for you to make a planning visit ahead of bringing your group.

Length of Visit
When planning your visit to The Historic Dockyard please note that there is so much to see and do. If your group has a special interest, for example in the ships, these can be visited in a couple of hours, or you may plan to be here all day to ensure your group sees everything. Alternatively you may like us to suggest an itinerary to match the length of time you have available to get the most out of your visit.

• ADULT: £10.00
• CONCESSION: £8.50 (Senior Citizens, Students, HM Forces)
• CHILD:  £7.00 (Aged 5 – 15 years)

  Enhance your visit
  Pre- book one of the following to enhance your group's visit to The Historic Dockyard Chatham:
  
• one of our Guided Walks & Tours|
• either a ½ hour or 1½ hour cruise on the River Medway aboard the Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle|
• Site Guide Books|
• Refreshments in our licensed Wheelwrights' Restaurant.|

• All visits must be pre-booked, with a non-refundable deposit of £1.00 per person payable 14 days prior to date of visit.
• The above rates are only available to organised groups with a minimum of 20 or more paying visitors. If your numbers drop to between 15-19 paying visitors, your group may be offered a discount of approx 10% on the normal individual admission prices, with no free entry for Group Organiser or Coach Driver. • All children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 
• Discount cards and promotional offers are not valid against Group Admission Rates. 
• Group rate tickets are valid for the day of your visit only. Up-grades to 12 month tickets are available for individual members of your group who wish to make return visits during the year. Further details are available from the Admissions Desk before departure.
