2007 marks the 25th anniversary of the Falklands conflict.  The Royal Navy played a vital part in the task force sent to liberate the Falkland Islands from the Argentinean occupation.
The Falklands conflict remains a memorable event both in Britain's post war history and in the history of Chatham Dockyard.
The Historic Dockyard, Chatham is commemorating the events of 1982 through its exhibition within the Museum of the Royal Dockyard, a veterans' event with a Falklands focus on 7th July and a special on-line exhibition.
