Many of the Historic Dockyard’s buildings and structures are now rented for commercial use with over 105 commercial tenants on site.

Originally constructed for naval purposes these buildings have been restored, adapted, and given a new lease of life - brought back into use as offices, studios, workshops and for light industrial uses.

A wide range of business activities operate from buildings within the Dockyard.  At the centre of the Dockyard are the Admiral's Offices which are now home to a range of companies including Management Consultants, Designers, an Opera and Ballet Producer, Architects and Surveyors. The Guard House is home to an Opticians and a firm of Architects, whilst the ground floor of the Sail and Colour Loft provides open plan offices for two Design Companies. Workshop and light industrial occupiers include Wood Carvers, Fountain Designers, Furniture Restorers and Sign writers.
