Where Legends were Created

HMS Gannet (1878) - Wedding Venue

HMS Gannet - wedding car

Built on the River Medway at Sheerness in 1878, HMS Gannet was part of our nation's Victorian Navy policing the waters of the British Empire.  She has been restored to her glorious 1886 condition and looks like a ship should look, including three masts and lots of rigging!
The ceremony can take place in the Commander's Cabin, on the quarterdeck or on main deck - an awning protects you from the uncertain English weather!
Couples can combine their ceremony on the ship with a reception either on board (drinks & canapés only), in a marquee alongside on the quay or in Commissioner's House, a 5-minute walk away through The Historic Dockyard.
