Art in the Dockyard 2008

ZZ_1212591249_Art in the Dockyard Logo.JPG Following the success of Art in the Dockyard 2006, artists and photographers – amateur and professional alike – are invited to enter works in the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust Art in the Dockyard 2008 competition. The site will be available to entrants from 23rd May - 31st August 2008 and the resulting works will feature in an exhibition at The Historic Dockyard from 13th September - 2nd November 2008.

The Winner of Art in the Dockyard 2006

The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Ideas and Innovations at the former Royal Dockyard Chatham’ which coincides with the theme of Museums and Galleries month.  Prizes will be awarded during a ceremony on 12th September 2008 for both Amateur and Professional work in the following categories:

• Paintings: Oil/Acrylic, Watercolour/Pen & Wash
• Photography: Colour, Black & White
• Mixed media: Shallow relief only
