Special Arrangements for Veterans

All Veterans of the UK Armed Forces and Merchant Navy, former members of the Auxiliary Forces and former workers of Chatham Dockyard up to its 1984 closure are invited to attend this very special occasion. The ticket offers detailed below also apply to all currently serving members of the UK Armed Forces.

Entrance Tickets - one FREE to each bone-fide Veteran. For the avoidance of doubt the term Veteran in this case includes ALL former staff of Chatham Dockyard up to its 1984 closure.

Veterans Guests. Each Veteran may purchase up to FIVE ‘Veterans Guest’ Tickets at the heavily reduced price of £8.50 each. (Regular Adult Price - £13.50)
Church Service. Space is limited so seats must be applied for.
Beating Retreat. Tickets for the Beating Retreat are priced at £10, £8 and £6 each based on location and view. The ceremony starts at 6.00pm with access to the Dockyard permitted from 5.00pm UNLESS a daytime ticket is held. Ex-Services Standards are welcome to join the Finale Muster prior to the Sunset Ceremony. The Beating Retreat is a fundraising event in aid of the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust and the ‘Help for Heroes’ Charity. As such, and we are sure you will understand, all public seats must be paid for to maximise the amount donated to these most worthwhile of causes.
